Stormy clouds surrounding my old rickety boat, lightning strikes in the

background. Looking for shore, food or a ship. Thoughts of starvation and wondering

if I would survive in the deep vast ocean with no one to hear me calling for help.

Seeing small figures floating around bellow me, my heart pounding with fear hoping it's

not anything dangerous or vicious. My boat shaking from below I hear and feel something

banging the bottom of my boat, someone please help me…

Wondering if my family is okay, and if their out looking for me. I miss my family and how

we all have a good bond. I lay down and rest for tomorrow's sunrise and I would carry on to find

home.

I should have listened to my family, I should have brought a map. Now my life is on the line.

Cross Country 2018

It was a frosty monday morning,lining up made my heart pound meanwhile my stomach greeted a whole new flock of butterflies. My legs trembled and goose bumps appeared all over my arms like a virus. Tahi, Rua, Toru…. BANG! The clappers went my legs shook with fear. Coming 4th, others slowly passed me. The pressure is on, my thoughts are only about ‘This is your last year do well’. On the half lap the stitch kicked in, it hurt like a hammer beating my ribs. When I got closer I see the shoot thinking ‘I wonder what I came?’ Sprinting down the shoot, with pakowhai and others cheering and making loud noises like a stampede. Looking up I see giselle 5 cm ahead of me, Sprinting like a wild horse being free Giselle steps up her game. Unfortunately Giselle takes my spot in coming 23rd. Feeling shocked,surprised and disappointed. feeling shocked because even though my friends aren't the fastest they still took the win and came before me. Congratulating them for coming before some of the fastest people in Heretaunga Takoto Noa. But Sadly feeling disappointed because I did worse than last year and this was my last year at frimley, and i did not reach my goal in coming top 15 What I learnt on cross country was that not the fastest people are the best at long distance and not so much at coming before others but at least we ended the course.

Im proud of this work because most of the people in our group had different ideas which made it easier to figure out and my favorite question was 2 because I had a different way than others to figure it out

To Colonize Mars, or Not?

We strongly advise we should not proceed with Elon Musk's plan to colonize Mars.
For instance, if something like a war comes Elon might only take the wealthy people instead of the l
ess fortunate. On the other hand, if we do go to Mars, how will Elon decide who goes? Exactly, it's
hard to choose out of 7.6 billion people.

Others may agree that the cost of a ticket to go to Mars on Elon’s rocket of ⅕ of a million dollars
($200,000) is acceptable, but how do we know if the rockets will make it? We found out that only
16 out of the 39 attempts to fly to Mars made it to their destination. The cost of fuel and just making the
ship is prohibitive enough for most people to decide not to go. So, Why should we waste money and r
isk lives for an adventure that might not even succeed? We could be spending that money on better  
ways to live or solve problems in our own planet.

Babies you gotta love babies, Our question is how will Elon transport babies in a rocket?
Have you ever heard a baby cry in a airplane well it will be twice as worse having them in a rocket.
Plus he will have to provide special care and that will cost even more money.
Traveling for 39 days in a rocket with a baby will be hard so what is Elon going to do is he just going
to leave them there with all of our other fellow animals and pets. We need babies to carry our family
generations!

Who gave Elon musk the right to decide who goes to Mars and who does not get to go to mars,
He doesn’t own mars nobody does. He says all these things because he is a wealthy man and isn’t it
peculiar that all the wealthy people in the world seem to be running things.

Wealthy or not wealthy we all get to decide if we should colonise mars or if we shouldn’t the decision
isn't just up to the wealthy there is 7.6 billion people in the world with different views and perspectives.

If we choose to go to Mars we would have to trash earth using things such as nuclear weapons,
we would also have to somehow get rid of all of the lakes, rivers and oceans and most of the  oxygen !

Don’t you want to leave earth better than you found it or do you just want to abandon the place we all
call home?

MATHS PROBLEM

What I found hard about one of the problems is that we didn't know if it was Addition,Take-away or Times. What I enjoyed about it was that we all worked really well in a group and we had different ways of figuring it out.

How to make a healthy breakfast - Instructions

Materials: A Bowl
 1x Kettle
1x Teaspoon
1x Knife 
2x Weetbix
Water 100mls
Yogurt/Milk
1x Fruit eg: Banana
 1x Chopping Board/Plate

 Method:
 1)Grab your kettle and fill it up halfway with cold water from your kitchen tap once your finished that put the kettle on its stand and push the button to boil it

 2)Get 2 weet-bix and your bowl, put the weetbix in your bowl

 3)Once your Kettle is boiled, pour your hot water into your bowl with your weetbix in it

 4)Peel your banana and then get your chopping board and knife then carefully slice them into edible pieces

 5)When your finished that grab your bowl and pour your desired amount of milk in 6)Now mix with the densed top of your teaspoon

 7)When it's all mixed together get your bananas and put them into your bowl.

 8)Last but not least enjoy!
